Create Multiple Precedents for One Client

In the precedent list, you can select multiple precedents by holding down the ctrl key. This allows you to generate more than one precedent at a time.

If the matter has multiple clients, you will be prompted to choose which client you would like the precedent generated for.

Time Entry Settings

Time Entry Settings is a precise and customisable way of creating AutoTime entries. It allows you to:

  • Adjust how activities are grouped within time entries, where applicable

  • Assign activity codes to specific groups

  • Define dynamic billing descriptions using fields derived from resources and activities

Staff Signature Fields

New staff signature fields have been introduced, making it easier to insert staff signatures into documents. These signatures are generated from the image uploaded via LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Firm > Staff > Members > Staff Member > Additional Details.

Within a Word document, you can insert signature fields for:

  • Current User

  • Person Acting

  • Person Assisting

  • Person Responsible

Renaming Comments

You can now enter a Document Name when creating a new comment. This name will appear in the correspondence list, making it easier to identify the comment.

If needed, you can rename the comment at any time by opening it and editing the Document Name.

Sorting Tasks by column header

You can sort tasks within a matter by clicking on the relevant column heading. Your sorting preferences will be retained and applied across all matters.

Age Display

When a Date of Birth is entered, the card will display the person’s age.

If a Date of Death is also entered, the card will instead display the person’s age at death next to the field.

Gender Option Changes

The button previously labelled Unknown for genders has been updated to Other.
