The company was established in 1992 and has more than 85 staff located in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Christian Beck
CEO

LEAP Group

Christian founded LEAP more than 17 years ago and has worked with LEAP clients to develop LEAP software and services. He is as passionate about providing great software solutions as he was when he started LEAP and continues in his role as chief software architect of the company.

Christian is one of Australia’s most experienced developers of legal applications software and it is his vision that has led to the current generation of Internet-integrated LEAP applications that are delivering unparalleled productivity, convenience and cost savings to all users of LEAP software.

Richard Hugo-Hamman

After a career in law Richard has been involved in the business of legal software and legal practice management software for small law firms for more than twenty years.

He is responsible for the day to day operations of the LEAP Office division of LEAP Legal Software.

Hunter Steele
MD LEAP Searching

Hunter is one of the longest serving staff members at LEAP. He started working for LEAP as a programmer but quickly became an analyst and applied his skills to the development of business solutions for small law firms. With a law degree and coming from a legal family background (both his father and sister are lawyers), Hunter has a natural affinity for ensuring that software solutions are intuitive and easy for lawyers and their staff to use and has led the development of the comprehensive range of online searching solutions now provided by LEAP.

Hunter is currently the MD of LEAP Searching and also manages software development teams involved in a range of new technology projects using c#.net as a primary development tool.

Ramsey Cabbani
National Sales Manager

Ramsey Cabbani heads up the National Sales Team with a focus on demonstrating to small law firms the benefits that LEAP Office can deliver. His team are trained in every aspect of LEAP Office and can discuss the experiences of other small firms like yours so that you can assess the benefits for yourself.

Ramsey “came up through the ranks” at LEAP, having started his career as a Sales Professional with LEAP after a successful career in the legal searching industry.

Alexandra Noble
National Client Relationship Manager

Like so many LEAP employees, Alexandra worked for law firms before joining LEAP, giving her crucial insight to guide and assist clients to get the most from their LEAP software.

Alexandra is well known to many LEAP clients having been Queensland Manager for some years before returning to Sydney in her current role. With her strengths as an Includer Alex is ideally placed to provide a communication bridge between LEAP and its clients.

Mark Burgess

Development Manager

Mark Burgess is the Development Manager and chief system designer of the LEAP Office development team.

Mark started his career at LEAP as the lead developer on LEAP Accounting which has pioneered several successful innovations in legal bookkeeping including industry leading and unique MYOB and Macquarie Bank back office integration. LEAP Accounting is now the most widely used legal and trust accounting software in Australia.

We get a lot of inspiration from this process and believe that our software is so widely used because it is natural for lawyers to use. Donna Broadley
National Services Manager

Donna is the National Services Manager and her primary responsibility is managing the National HelpDesk and all the online systems that help LEAP clients to use LEAP software.

Donna joined LEAP after working as Office Manager for a small city law firm and this prior experience enables her to provide accurate and practical advice to LEAP clients.

Kelly Clifford
National Consulting Manager

Kelly manages the National Consulting Team responsible for the installation of software and the training of client staff.

Kelly previously worked as a Senior LEAP Documents Consultant and it is her nature to promote individual and group excellence.

Bobbi Young
National Quality Manager

With more than 2,400 clients under support contracts there are always quality issues that need to be resolved. As National Quality Manager Bobbi investigates the facts and ensures that issues are resolved methodically and professionally.

Before joining LEAP Bobbi worked in a small city law firm and she has also passed the Advanced Conveyancing Diploma. She enjoys working hard with clients and staff to resolve issues satisfactorily.

Frances Kwok
Channels Manager

Frances is responsible for managing the LEAP Reseller and Franchisee network as well as the LEAP Accounting Certified Consultant Program.

Frances is well known to many LEAP clients, having first worked at LEAP as a Senior LEAP Accounting Consultant. Prior to that Frances worked in the accounting division of major law firms so her legal accounting expertise is always in high demand.

James Bible
Consulting Manager – Victoria and Tasmania

James worked as a Senior LEAP Accounting Consultant in Sydney before transferring to Melbourne in 2008 in his current role. Small firms in Victoria have special customs and practices and James works with Victorian clients to ensure that their implementations go smoothly and they get the intended benefit from LEAP Office in their firm.

Before joining LEAP, James had worked for small and medium law firms in Melbourne and Sydney through which he gained great knowledge of Locus and Open Practice. This background enables James to guide a number of clients through the change management process as they have switched to LEAP.

Skye Dwyer
Implementation Manager

After a very successful career as a Senior LEAP Document consultant, Skye agreed to accept responsibility for the implementation of LEAP in firms with 15 to 25 people. Skye uses the proven LEAP Implementation Method to ensure that all important delivery milestones are met and installations are delivered “on budget and on time”.

Like many staff at LEAP, before joining LEAP she worked in small law firms so she has a deep undertaking of how small law firms work. This enables her to take the change management pressures away from clients and guide them to their new LEAP Office system peacefully and cooperatively.
