Christian Beck

CEO

Christian founded LEAP more than 15 years ago and has worked with LEAP clients to develop LEAP software and services. He is as passionate about providing great software solutions as he was when he started LEAP and continues in his role as chief software architect of the company.

Christian is one of Australia’s most experienced developers of legal applications software and it is his vision that has led to the current generation of Internet-integrated LEAP applications that are delivering unparalleled productivity, convenience and cost savings to all users of LEAP software.

In his role as National Operations Manager Richard is responsible for the day to day operations of the LEAP branches and the Franchisee, Reseller and Certified Consultant networks.

Richard has been involved in the development and support of legal software solutions for more than 20 years. His experience includes assisting law firms on three continents and he is committed to providing law firms with affordable software support services of the highest quality.

Richard is passionate about ensuring that clients get the benefit of their technology investments.

Hunter Steele

MD LEAP Disbursement Management

Hunter is one of the longest serving staff members at LEAP. He started working for LEAP as a programmer but quickly became an analyst and applied his skills to the development of business solutions for small law firms. With a law degree and coming from a legal family background ( both his father and sister are lawyers), Hunter has a natural affinity for ensuring that software solutions are intuitive and easy for lawyers and their staff to use and has led the development of the comprehensive range of online searching solutions now provided by LEAP.

Hunter is currently the MD of LEAP Disbursement Management and also manages software development teams involved in a range of new technology projects using c#.net as a primary development tool.

Emma Barker

State Manager - Victoria

As the longest serving employee of LEAP, Emma has extensive experience

in all aspects of LEAP from sales and marketing to precedent design and development and legal accounting. She has considerable experience at setting up specialist law firms including, but not limited to, mortgage processing and debt collection practices. Emma's extensive knowledge of the LEAP products enables her to provide sound advice to clients in relation to precedent development, database customisations and reporting functions.

Prior to joining LEAP in 1998 Emma worked in the property department of a Sydney law firm giving her invaluable “inside experience” which she uses to assist LEAP clients.

In her role as State Manager Emma is responsible for all aspects of the business in Victoria. This includes areas such as sales and marketing, the overseeing of installations and training of new clients as well as ensuring quality support is provided to all LEAP clients in both LEAP Documents and LEAP Accounting.

Alexandra Noble
State Manager – Queensland

Alexandra joined LEAP Legal in the beginning of 2002. Alexandra initially joined LEAP Legal as a LEAP Documents Consultant but soon moved to Sales as NSW Sales and Marketing Manager.

Like so many LEAP employees, Alexandra also has prior experience working for law firms giving her crucial insight to guide and assist clients considering introducing competitive software solutions into their firms. In 2005 Alexandra was charged with responsibility for opening a Queensland office and over the past 18 months LEAP Queensland has grown substantially with the office now supporting more than 200 of clients using LEAP Legal products and services.

Mark Burgess

Development Manager

Mark Burgess is LEAP Accounting’s chief system designer and executive and has been involved with the project since its inception. He is responsible for LEAP Accounting’s strategic direction, product design and leads the LEAP Accounting development team.

Since joining LEAP in 2002 Mark has pioneered several successful innovations in legal bookkeeping including industry leading and unique MYOB back office integration. Mark is a member of the Australian Computer Society

and has spent his working life developing software for the legal profession.

Donna Broadley

National Services Manager

Donna is the National Services Manager and a member of the Executive Team. She is responsible for Quality Assurance of all LEAP products, Conversions and the National HelpDesk.

Donna joined LEAP Legal in September 2003 as a LEAP Documents Consultant and took over responsibility for Quality Assurance In December 2005.

Donna joined LEAP after working as Office Manager for a small city law firm. This prior experience enables her to provide accurate and practical advice to LEAP clients. Donna is committed to ensuring that LEAP clients enjoy the benefits of our world-class software.

Kelly Clifford

NSW Consulting Manager

Kelly manages the NSW Consulting Team who perform software installations and train clients to get the maximum benefit from their LEAP software, assist with customisations and provide a wide range of advice to help LEAP client’s run their practices better.

After a successful career as a legal secretary Kelly joined LEAP in 2001 as a LEAP Documents Consultant. She was appointed NSW Consulting Manager in September 2005.

Kelly understand how small law firms work and she enjoys the interaction with clients to ensure client expectations are met through the LEAP consultants.

Marin Sardelic

Manager - LEAP Publishing

Marin Sardelic is responsible for the overall development and management of the LEAP Publishing team including Legal Content and Precedents.

Marin has spent over 10 years in the Legal Information Technology industry.

He brings to LEAP experience in both Practice Development and Publishing including content development and publisher relations.

With his knowledge and experience in the legal software industry, Marin’s goal is to develop LEAP Publishing to provide LEAP clients with convenient access to trusted and reliable sources of legal content.
